I am about 40% of the way through this book and entirely impressed! I've read scores of information on leadership and management styles however the way the authors convey the information in this book struck numerous new cords for me. The book is written in an accessible way for any reader, whether in a position to supervise others or not; I am certain each person can find significant value in reading and understanding the information presented here. I have some familiarity with MI skills and have experienced their impact first-hand, everything in this book just makes so much sense! Great connection here bringing these skills together in such a clear and pragmatic presentation. Thank you!My favorites about the book- Real-world stories of these skills in action- Activities that enhance learning and understanding of the material being presented- Plethora of examples for each type of MI skill being applied to the work/professional setting or circumstance as opposed to the traditional clinical setting of which i'm most familiar.Buyer Beware: Do not underestimate the potency of the wisdom contained in these pages!
